1. Cosmetics (Kosmetika)

I’ll start with a great shower gel from the brand Balea from summer edition „Holidays“. I chose coconut-pineapple scent for about 35 CZK and I was totally satisfied with it. Other products are by brand Garnier. The anti-perspirant is the only one for me in the summer heat which worked, and I bought it in discount for 45 CZK. The same can be said about the cleansing tonic, which costs about 120 CZK.

Začnu skvělým sprchovým gelem od značky Balea z letní edice „Prázdniny“. Já si vybrala kokosovo-ananasovou vůni za cca 35,-Kč a byla jsem s ní naprosto spokojená. Další produkty tu máme od značky Garnier. Tento anti-perspirant je jediný, který na mě v těch letních vedrech fungoval a ještě jsem ho koupila v akci za 45,-Kč. To samé se dá říct o čistícím tonikum, které stálo asi 120,-Kč.

2. Clothes (Oblečení)

My summer outfit. Flower headband from H&M for 99 CZK, t-shirt from a charity bazaar for 15 CZK, skirt from the bazaar for 30 CZK and shoes from a Vietnamese shop for 150 CZK. I wore these clothes very often.

Můj letní outfit. Květinová čelenka je z H&M za 99,-Kč, tričko z charitativního bazaru za 15,-Kč, sukně z bazaru za 30,-Kč a boty od vietnamců za 150,-Kč. Tohle oblečení jsem nosila velmi často.

3. Food (Jídlo)

My best friend baked me a cake for my lately birthday in the summer. Seriously the best cake I’ve ever had. It was vegan, gluten-free and extra sweet, but mainly from the Harry Potter series! Simply the best!

Můj nejlepší kamarád mi dodatečně v létě upekl dort k narozeninám. Vážně nejlepší dort, který jsem kdy měla. Byl veganský, bezlepkový a extra sladký, ale hlavně z Harryho Pottera! Prostě nejlepší!

4. Book (Kniha)

This summer I didn’t read a lot at last and my summer book challenge has not been fulfilled. Throughout I spent the summer with this school book and preparing for FCE Certificate in English (I passed and it will be a separate article about it).

Toto léto jsem toho nakonec moc nepřečetla a moje letní knižní výzva nebyla splněna. Celé léto jsem totiž strávila u této učebnice a připravovala se na FCE certifikát z angličtiny (zvládla jsem ho a bude o tom samostatný článek).

5. Movie/TV series (Film/seriál)

During the summer most of the series, which I watch have a break. Because of it, I always start looking for something new, and this summer I have been amused by this series „Young & Hungry“ and „Orange is the new black„.

Přes léto většina seriálů, na které se dívám, má pauzu. Proto vždy začnu koukat na něco nového a tohle léto mě nejvíc pobavily seriály „Mladí a hladoví“ a „Oranžová je nová černá„.

6. Music (Hudba)

I become addicted to the song „Girls Like Girls“ by Hayley Kiyoko . It’s cheerful, video is positive and it went together with the summer beginning.

Propadla jsem písničce „Girls Like Girls“ od Hayley Kiyoko. Je veselá, klip je pozitivní a to se k začínajícímu létu hodilo.

The tones of this song are perfect – Sunday Girl „Where is my mind“  (dunson remix).

7. Event (Akce)

In July our family undertook an educational trip to the Fortress of Terezin (more here), and then my parents and I finished summer with festivals full food (review here).

V červenci jsme s rodinou podnikli naučný výlet do Pevnosti Terezín (více zde) a pak jsem s rodiči zakončila léto na festivalech plných jídla (recenze tady).

8. Thing (Věc)

My first favorite thing is the holder of jewelry that I received from my boss and then I wrapped it into my collection of bracelets. And it would not be me if I didn’t buy the new Yankee candle waxes. This time, it was all very summery, fresh and floral – one costs about 52 CZK.

První mojí oblíbenou věcí je držák na šperky, který jsem dostala od šéfové a hned jsem ho obalila svou sbírkou náramků. A to bych nebyla já, kdybych si nekoupila nové Yankee candle vosky. Tentokrát všechny byly hodně letní, svěží a květinové – jeden stojí cca 52,-Kč.

9. The Net (Internet)

Finally video to reflect on a war theme, a funny video with Daniel and Lucy Knisley ‚s pictures , which summarized the entire Harry Potter series.

Nakonec video k zamyšlení s válečnou tématikou, vtipné video s Danielem a obrázky Lucy Knisley, které shrnují celou sérii Harryho Pottera.
