Instead, I have for you a review on a quiet new book associated with the world of Harry Potter: Harry Potter, The Creature Valut. I got it for Christmas and have just read it. Therefore I’m going to tell you something about it ..

Bohužel jsem nestihla přečíst knížku od J. Greena „Sněží, sněží“ a tak se její recenze opozdí. Místo toho mám ale pro vás recenzi na vcelku novou knížku spojenou se světem Harryho Pottera: Bestiář Harryho Pottera, Dostala jsem ji k Vánocům a hned ji přečetla. Tudíž vám o ni něco povím..

J.K. Rowling’s the world of Harry Potter hides many creatures and characters that gave mainly filmmakers a lot of work when they made them (and still doing for the new movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them). The book is a summary of the most interesting creatures with descriptions of their origin and formation for the films. There are non-published figures, knowledge, practices and initial sketch. The book is mostly a picture book – the images are the most important to it. It has 9 chapters, eg .: Lake Dwellers, Maid creatures, Dark Forces or Greenhouse. The book is of good quality material and is well arranged.

Tvorové a zvířata, jimiž se hemží knihy a filmy o Harrym Potterovi, jsou zábavní, velkolepí, děsiví i láskyplní.
Svět Harryho Pottera spisovatelky J. K. Rowling skrývá mnoho tvorů a postav, které dali hlavně filmařům zabrat, když je tvořili (a stále tvoří pro nový film Fantastická zvířata a kde je najít). Kniha je shrnutím těch nejzajímavějších tvorů s popisky jejich vzniku i tvorby pro filmy. Jsou zde nezveřejněné postavy, poznatky, postupy a prvotní nákres. Kniha je hlavně obrázkovou knihou – obrázky jsou na ni nejdůležitější. Má 9 kapitol, např.: Obyvatelé jezera, Služebné bytosti, Temné síly nebo Skleník. Kniha je z kvalitního materiálu a je velmi přehledná.

Ratings (Hodnocení):
I read the book in one night and was smiling the whole time. Images are absolutely perfect and has very interesting information. I don’t mind at all that the book is more like an encyclopedia, because it is amazing. It’s worth for the price (although I got it as a gift) and certainly it will consume you like me. But I will be honest – this book is for real fans who are interested in the world of Harry Potter more than ordinary fans.
Knihu jsem přečetla za jeden večer a celou dobu se usmívala. Obrázky jsou naprosto dokonalé a má velmi zajímavé informace. Vůbec mi nevadí, že kniha je spíš encyklopedie, protože je úžasná. Za tu cenu to určitě stojí (i když já ji dostala jako dárek) a určitě vás pohltí stejně jako mě. Nebudu vám ale nic nalhávat – tato knížka je pro opravdové fanoušky, kteří se o svět Harryho Pottera zajímají více, než běžní fanoušci.
